Three questions to get to know us
Who are we ?
We are a team of database software developers and architects integrated into ARISTID Retail Technology. Fifteen years ago, we spotted the need for marketing and communication departments in companies to centralize and manage the data they use to produce catalogs and other digital media. To meet this need, we have conceived a PIM and DAM platform offering gateways to production tools such as Adobe Indesign, Magento and other e-commerce platforms.
As communicators ourselves, we knew that they need to adapt quickly and constantly. This is why we have integrated simple administration tools into our platform, allowing users without computer knowledge to adapt and develop their applications independently.
This agility saved us from being drowned in specific developments. We could remain a small team on a human scale. We were able to devote our time to optimizing performance and offering more functionalities promoting the autonomy of our users.
Why LEAV-Engine?
The success of these concepts gave us the idea of a generalist platform, right in the rising of NoCode and LowCode applications.
This ambitious project has several objectives:

Meet the requirement of increasingly rich and complex database applications

Reduce development time, deployment, acceptance and update phases

Pre-integrate most of the standard functions common to any database application (permissions, search, imports/exports, workflows, etc...).

Provide user-friendly interfaces to extend and modify the data-model as business needs evolve.
Why the choice of Open Source?
We have always developed applications and OPEN-SOURCE technologies have played a big role for this. We felt it was time for us to contribute in return to the community. That is the reason why we decided the LEAV-Engine solution would also be Open Source.
